Is STRUCTURE a freight broker?

No. We match you with one licensed broker, if one fits your lane. That broker quotes, books and arranges your load under their own MC number, and handles price and payment with you directly. STRUCTURE has no MC number of its own, because we don't broker or haul freight.

Who gives me the rate: you or the broker?

The broker. STRUCTURE isn't a broker or a carrier, and we never see or set your rate. We find and check the broker. If one fits and you click Approve, they've committed to contact you within the time shown on your card, and they quote your load directly. We don't give instant quotes, because a real rate comes from a broker looking at your load.

What does it cost me?

Nothing to use STRUCTURE. Brokers in the network pay us flat dues. You pay us nothing and sign nothing with us. The price of moving your load is between you and the broker.

How fast will I hear back?

Accepted Answer

Within one business day you get a broker's name or a plain answer that nobody fits. The form shows the date, and your confirmation shows the date we commit to. Weekends and federal holidays don't count. Loads ready to move are read first. If the truck has to be there in the next few hours, keep calling your regular providers too.

How do you check the broker?

We check their operating authority, bond, insurance and identity, and each check is printed on your card with its date. Their MC and DOT numbers are printed in full, so you can look up their operating authority yourself on FMCSA's SAFER Company Snapshot. FMCSA warns of broker and carrier identity theft. Its advice: if a phone number you're given doesn't match the one posted in SAFER, call the number posted in SAFER. Your card comes only from desk@structurelogistics.com, and it never asks you for payment.

Does this guarantee I won't get double-brokered?

No one can honestly promise that, so we won't. What we do: check the broker's authority, bond, insurance and identity, date every check, and show them to you before you agree to anything. We check the broker, not every truck they book. Ask the broker you approve how they check carriers.

Question 7

Who sees my information?

Accepted Answer

Until you approve, no broker learns who you are. If you approve, one broker gets your contact details: the one on your card. If you don't approve, no broker ever learns who you are. Our privacy policy covers the rest.

Do I have to drop my current carriers or brokers?

Accepted Answer

No. Try one load, and compare the quote with any you already have. Keep everything that works.

Do you have reviews or customer logos?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. We're new, so there are no reviews to show yet. What we can show you is the checks, with dates, and the broker's MC and DOT numbers in full, so you can look up their operating authority on FMCSA yourself.

What can I ship?

Accepted Answer

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, box truck, power only, and LTL or partial loads, from one pallet to a full truck. If nobody in the network runs your lane, we tell you.

What if nobody in the network fits my lane?

We email you and say so, by the same answer date. We won't send you a broker who doesn't run your lane just to have something to send. You're not signed up to anything.

Do I need a company or a work email?

Accepted Answer

No. Gmail is fine, and Company is optional. This form is for anyone shipping their own freight.

I'm a broker, carrier or dispatcher.
